What’s the Value of an ITIL Certificate?

Pass4sure, the world’s biggest IT certification materials provider, released the result of the recent survey of Top 15 Tech Certifications for 2009.

This survey is based on the profitability of the certifications, the relevance in today’s market, and from the popularity of the certifications discussed by most of the Pass4sure loyal customers. The result also contains salary information for each of these certifications

ITIL certificates took 3 and 7 positions in the top 15 tech certifications for 2009:

3. ITIL v2 – Foundations, with an annual average salary of $95,415.
7. ITIL v3 – ITIL Master, with an annual average salary of $86,600.

“With the economic climate these days, tech certifications are needed more than ever,” said Neil Sterling, President and Founder of Pass4sure. “The profitability of the certifications has never been so high.”

Many insiders believe it is a very credible list. Bowen Wood, Pass4sure’s Director of Software Development Centre told us the reason, “We chose more than 10,000 IT professionals from our customers for interviews. This survey result will be useful as guidance for certification candidates.”
